Who is The Green Insulation Company?
Based in Fairfield County Connecticut, The Green Insulation Company specializes in Soy Based Spray Foam. We serve Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London Counties in Connecticut along with Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Rockland Counties in New York, as well as parts of northern New Jersey.
Over the years we have become "Certified Dealers" for BioBased Insulation, ThermoSeal Insulation and Demilec USA Insulation. With these three different Spray Foam manufacturers on board there is no spray foam project we can not handle.
Our goal at The Green Insulation Company is to help the environment by reducing the amount of energy required to heat and cool a house. This is a green building product, that will save you money right from the start. It seals a structure's thermal envelope, making it is more energy efficient, mold and pest resistant and provides good sound dampening benefits.
What is Spray Foam Insulation?
Spray Foam Insulation has significant advantages over conventional insulation materials (Fiberglass & Cellulose). It permanently and completely fills and seals all voids.
Due to the better overall thermal performance of Spray Foam Insulation the difference in price between Spray Foam and Fiberglass is made up in less than two years. Since conventional insulation materials can settle, they cannot seal from stud to stud, around outlets, or on horizontal surfaces. In addition, conventional insulation can lose its insulation value if water or moisture invade the wall cavity.
Spray Foam Insulation is not affected by time or moisture, it will not settle, it does not support mold growth, and it offers no food source or nesting materials for rodents and insects.
A Spray Foam Insulation System provides superior performance:
